The Memorial Statue for Reconstruction of War Damage

Urakami region burned by the atomic bomb was designated as a region for the readjustment of town lots to reconstruct,in accordance with the basic policy to plan reconstruction of war damage,they started to work for reconstruction in September,1946.After that it took more than 28 years to complete thatin February,1975.This is also monument,down which a girl and a boy sit and look the reconstructed Urakami town as a peaceful city,for reconstruction of the bombed city.　　　　　　　　　(The erect date Nobember 1975)
